Many of my abstract pieces were inspired by subconscious doodles that I used to draw in the margins of my notes when attending meetings or jotting while talking on the phone. I would save these doodles in a folder not knowing that I would later use them as reference for my paintings. Some are large while others very small. And some are created with different depths and dimensions.
Sometimes several pieces are hung together as installation projects like the ones shown here. There have been as many as 25 individual pieces hanging together on walls or stairway spaces.
